Jasmine is a white alpaca with light brown spots. She is the most likely of our alpacas to come close
and investigate any time someone is in the field with her and to allow herself to be touched. She is
our first choice for sharing with area school groups that come out to the farm for field trips. She is
playful and good with younger cria who tend to follow her. She has been bred for the first time in the
spring of 2006. We are watching carefully to see how that goes. Jasmine has long silky soft fleece
with a lovely luster that adds greatly to my crafting projects. Her fleece was a favorite with area
spinners who were volunteering their time demonstrating their talent during the first annual Palmetto
Classic Alpaca Show in Clemson, SC in 2005. They took her fleece right off the skirting table and
spun up some wonderful yarn!
Jasmine enjoys water play on hot,
humid days. After she has cooled
off a bit, she rolls in the dirt and
becomes very muddy!
Jasmine has very distinctive facial
markings. The light brown coloring
is repeated through out her fleece
in spots.
Jasmine was an adorable cria and
kept her sweet temperament as
she grew older.
