DOB: July 28, 2004 (our anniversary and our first cria)
Color: Dark Fawn (we feel she is now light brown)
Microchipped: not yet
Registered: ARI
ARI #: 1291889
Gender: Bred Female
Genevieve was the first cria born to our farm and we were so delighted to welcome her, with her skinny
legs and perked up ears, looking so much like a fawn. There were no problems with the delivery or
since then. Genevieve has exceptionally dense fleece with a wonderful crimp. Histogram analysis
results will be in shortly. I often use her fleece in my felting projects because it is such a rich color. She
is halter trained and very calm when on a halter. She remains wary of reaching hands when free of the
halter but is not afraid to come right up to visitors and sniff them in greeting.
Genevieve is currently bred for the first time so we are keeping a close eye on her and the progress of
her pregnancy. If all goes well, her first cria should hit the ground early spring 2007. If for some reason
the fetus is reabsorbed, we will re-breed her this fall.
Genevieve is truly a beautiful girl with solid
color and a delicate, finely formed face.
Genevieve's fleece is so dense she
almost looks like a teddy bear in
the winter time.
