Herevia is part of our foundation herd, which really was just her and another bred female! She is an import
so little is known about her background except her date of birth and country of origin. She has never been
halter trained and has travelled from Bolivia to Washington State to South Carolina. We bought her from a
local farm so she didn't have to cross state lines to move yet again. Her trust level is somewhat low but she
is gentle. Her wariness extends to evading us when possible and spitting if Mark isn't around. For some
reason she behaves better when he shakes his finger at her. She is an absolutely terrific mother though
and has given us Jasmine and Bandit. We plan on breeding her to Rubio to see if we can get a solid
colored alpaca out of her.
Genevieve and Herevia are not
certain what I mean to do with a
camera in hand.
Herevia cools off in the wading pool
on hot days. She also enjoys laying
in front of the fans.
